It is as a cooking school teacher that Elise is best loved. In Australia her first school was in Melbourne, then Sydney when she moved there to write the food column for Good Living in The Sydney Morning Herald. She has taught thousands of men and women in regional New South Wales and Queensland from Wagga Wagga in the south to Condobolin in the west to Noosa Heads in the north and Cunnamulla in the far west of Queensland as well as Adelaide in South Australia and dozens of towns in between.

For fifteen years, Elise packed up her pots and pans and headed off to the bush in her four-wheel drive for months at a time to entertain and teach thousands of people how to make the best of local ingredients. She has an easy charm and is a passionate teacher. Her students returned time and time again to learn new culinary skills and recipes and to delight in the camaraderie created by being surrounded by like-minded cooks.

Elise is known internationally as guest chef at a number of 5 star hotels in Europe, North America and Mexico. She has been a 'food ambassador' of Australian products and has spearheaded promotions for national product authorities in Canada, America and Mexico. She led the Fresh Australian Range Lamb (FARL) program in North America for The Australian Meat & Livestock Corporation for a decade.

Elise Pascoe brought to her classes skills honed over years of teaching at famous cooking schools and hotels around the world.

As an authoritative cooking writer, Elise was the first Australian Editor of FOOD ARTS, a New York based magazine. As a seasoned electronic broadcaster, Elise fronted her own cooking segment for many years at Network 10. She has appeared on numerous television programs around the world as well as Qantas inflight videos fronting Australian cuisine.

She was a front runner in establishing Australian women in the wine industry as the first woman President of the Wine Press Club of Victoria and the first and only woman Director of The Wine Society, a multi million dollar wine buying co-operative.

Elise has Chaired the International Association of Culinary Professionals International Committee. As a marketing and industry consultant, she has devised the trans Pacific menus for Continental Airlines, and promoted wines for both Taltarni (Victoria) and Clos du Val (California) vineyards.

Elise started Australia's first cleverly conceived International Cooking School, located in the verdant hills of Jamberoo Valley, 2 hours south of Sydney.  The property has been sold so she can concentrate on writing and marketing via the internet.


Whilst the hands on cooking school chapter may have ended, an exciting new chapter is just beginning with Elise taking her expertise and teaching style to students all over the world via her EPICS online cooking classes and
